If you’re affected by domestic violence and you’re employed, this brochure explains new legal protections at work you are entitled to – paid domestic violence leave, short-term flexible working arrangements and to not be treated adversely at work because you’ve experienced domestic violence. It also explains how domestic violence is defined and provides other important information like where you can seek help, what the law says about your employer keeping your information confidential, and what you can do if your employer is not following the law.
