We’re really excited to celebrate Women’s Equality Day on the 26th August 2022
The Shine RESPOND team are taking this opportunity to raise awareness around social and structural inequities that further entrap women in coercive controlling relationships. We are running a free webinar which will focus on how gendered stereotypes and social inequities (colonisation, racism, ableism, etc.) cause greater gender inequality and violence against women. The webinar is a one hour session – 1-2pm – and will provide an opportunity to discuss the link between gender inequality and coercive control, better understand resistance, and how to uphold women’s dignity in our everyday life.
