Annual Ladies Golf Classic

The Annual Ladies Golf Classic took place on October 14, 2011 at the Grange Golf Club in Otahuhu (pictured at right).  Rain threatened the event in the days preceding and early morning of the 14th, but the sun prevailed, making for a beautiful day.

This hugely successful event raised nearly $15,000 to benefit Shine's safe@home programme

There were 88 players in 22 teams playing for some great prizes.  There were also lots of laughs, some amazing shots, some not so amazing, drinks and nibbles, spot prizes, and free product samples/vouchers.  Perry Sansom (Shine Foundation Board member) was our Auctioneer extraordinaire.  One participant commented:

"What a well organized day! Great cause as well. We will be back next year."

A huge thank you to our Shine Foundation Board members who organised this event -- Sarah Cole and Chrissi Bollard!!!

The Priscilla Team with Sarah Cole and Louise Binns (Shine Board and Foundation Chair).  This Team caused quite a stir and raised some intriguing questions such as.. Which changing room did they use? and.. Did they use the ladies' tees?
