Handle with Care Gala Party
After months of hard work by our experienced fundraising committee, Shine* held a fabulous, glamorous party at the Auckland Britomart to raise funds for the agency’s Child Crisis Team. Champagne flowed freely and guests kicked their heels up on the dance floor alongside Carol Hirschfeld, Dick and Diana Hubbard, Trelise Cooper, Judy Bailey and Annette Presley.
A wide range of auction items were available for sale including contemporary NZ art and a Saturday night ride-along in the Police Eagle helicopter. Guests were treated to a sneak preview of the EziBuy / Trelise Cooper Handle with Care sleepwear range and other entertainment provided by the wacky 80s cover band, Club Nerd.
It was a huge success for the team with memories of the event and vital funds raised.
