- Employees have easy access to domestic violence assessment tools
- Separate interviews of (ex)partners and/or children include routine screening and assessment for danger
- Culturally appropriate services do not allow culture as an excuse for violence
- The code of ethics and agency procedures address abusive behaviour by workers
- Employees are involved in workplace safety planning
